What are the fees for my course?
Below is the fees table for Healthcare Training Australia's courses. To understand the fees that you will be charged for the course you wish to enrol in please read the following instructions. Please remember that these fees are subject to change from time to time.
The Victorian Government under the Victorian Training Guarantee will partly fund most of the courses HTA offers. The basic eligibility criteria is as follows though there are further conditions and exceptions so please call to have your individual eligibility assessed.
To be eligible for Victorian Training Guarantee Funding:
1. Students need to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand Citizen
2. If over 20, the course the student undertakes must be a higher qualification than any that they have successfully completed before; and
3. Students cannot do more than two funded courses per year and can start a course at the same level only twice in their lifetime.
This is a guide only; please call for more information so we can properly assess your eligibility. There are some exceptions to points 2 & 3.
Although the course is partly funded, there is still a student contribution required and if you look under the heading 'Funded Course Fee' you will see the amount students are required to pay as their part of the course fees. The column 'Funded Fee per Scheduled Hour', is the course fee broken down by the scheduled hours of the course. This enables students to easily compare the fee rates between different training companies.
Funded Courses Concession Fee
If students are eligible for funding, they may also be eligible for a concession on their fee. The column 'Funded Course Concession Fee ' shows the fee amount if students are eligible for concession. There are no concessions for the Diploma Level Courses.
To be eligible for concessions students must hold a current
1. Commonwealth Health Care Card or
2. Pensioner Concession Card or
3. Veteran's Gold Cared
Fee for Service
Students who are not eligible for Victorian Government Funding will be considered 'Fee for service' and the fee rates for the courses are listed under that column heading. There are no concessions available. To be able to easily compare fee rates between training companies there is a 'FFS fee per Sch Hours' rate .
How do I pay?
Students do not always have to pay all the fees before the course begins. Most students will enter into a monthly payment plan and pay their fees as they go whilst they undertake the training. Please ring to find out more information on payment plans for fees.
